Who can play SportStock?
You must be 21 or older and physically located in a U.S. state where SportStock is available. We verify your age and identity at signup, and your location each time you open the app.
What are Gold Coins and SportCash?
Gold Coins (GC) are entertainment tokens you can purchase. SportCash (SC) is promotional play credit granted with Gold Coin purchases — it's what you use to buy and sell SportStocks. Neither has monetary value and neither can be redeemed for cash.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
Before trading, we ask for a government-issued photo ID and a quick selfie through our verification partner. This keeps the market fair by confirming every player is real, of age, and in an eligible state.
What moves a team's price?
Buying and selling by other players, plus real-world performance: wins and losses, rankings, injuries, betting odds, prediction markets, coaching changes, and more. Everything matters.
Is SportStock gambling or investing?
No. SportStock is a free-to-play social sports game for entertainment. SportStocks are not securities, and the game is not a betting or investment product.
